Stepstone Academy in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Interventional Specialist to join our team. This position involves working with a 1st grader during Extended School Year (ESY) hours, with the opportunity to transition to full-time for the upcoming school year (NSY 23-24). Located in a great area of Cleveland, Stepstone Academy is committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans for a 1st-grade student.
  • Provide targeted instruction and support to address the student's specific educational needs.
  • Monitor and assess the student's progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the student's academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other collaborative efforts to support the student's success.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching license or certification in Ohio.
  • Experience working with students in an intervention or special education capacity is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to helping students reach their full potential.

Work Schedule:

  • Some summer work (part-time) with the opportunity to transition to full-time for the NSY 23-24.
