Blazerjobs is on the search for a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join a school district in Algonquin, IL, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for a professional who is excited about making a lasting impact on the lives of children. This full-time position involves working with both elementary and middle school students, providing comprehensive behavior analysis and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed functional behavior assessments to determine students' needs and create tailored behavior intervention plans.
  • Apply and oversee the use of evidence-based behavior analysis methods to track and support student progress.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to seamlessly incorporate behavioral strategies into both classroom and home environments.
  • Offer comprehensive training and assistance to school staff on effective behavior management techniques.
  • Keep meticulous records of student progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans based on data.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights on behavioral goals and strategies.
  • Engage with a wide range of students, including those in regular education, resource, and self-contained programs, to address their unique behavioral needs.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Master s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a BCBA in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle a diverse caseload and adapt to the varying needs of students.
