Blazerjobs is partnering with a School District in Ecorse, MI to hire dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers. This position involves working with high school students in two roles: a Self-Contained Teacher and a Resource Teacher. The ideal candidates will be able to start immediately and work through the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support high school students in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Provide resource support to students with special needs, collaborating with general education teachers.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License or equivalent.
• Experience in self-contained and/or resource settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a diverse team of educators.
• Effective classroom management skills and a passion for student success.
