We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to students with various physical disabilities and impairments. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that promote physical development and functional independence.

Key Details:

  • Part Time: 2-3 days, 20 hours a week
  • Multi-campus: 5-6 buildings
  • August 6, 2024 - May 23, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
  • Monitor and document students' progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and physical development.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' physical therapy needs and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Indianapolis Physical Therapist license.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
