Interviewing Now | Pre School Paraprofessional (Para) | Napa, CA

We are hiring multiple paraprofessionals to join our pre school team in Napa, CA! Our paras will be assisting our special education classrooms in 1:1 and classroom support based roles. If you are interested, please read the description below and apply.

Location: Napa, CA
Duration: ASAP - June 2025
Part Time: 15 hours a week 12:45pm - 4pm
Caseload: Pre school students

Job Duties

• Assisting with academic tasks: Helping the student with classwork, homework, and understanding instructions.
• Supporting behavior management: Helping the student maintain focus, follow classroom rules, and manage any behavioral challenges.
• Facilitating communication: Assisting the student with social interactions and communication, particularly if the student has communication difficulties.
• Implementing accommodations: Assisting with any accommodations outlined in the student’s IEP or 504 plan, such as using adaptive tools or providing additional explanations.

• Two years at an institution of higher education or an Associate's degree or a para educator certificate
• Experience working with special education students with behavioral aid preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
