Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Aurora, CO
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our school's inclusive and supportive education team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Plan and deliver effective lessons based on individual student needs
• Provide instructional support and accommodations to help students succeed academically and personally
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs (school setting preferred)
• Active CDE Certification

Pay Range: $32-35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
