Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT)

Blazer Jobs is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join our educational team in Valdosta, Georgia. This role involves working with students to improve their physical functioning within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' gross motor skills and mobility challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs to enhance movement, strength, and coordination.
• Collaborate with educators to adapt school activities and environments for students with physical limitations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Educate school staff and families on physical therapy strategies and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric physical therapy, ideally in a school setting.
• Knowledge of state regulations and best practices in physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
