Job Opportunity: School-based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Blazer Jobs is looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to work in schools in Albany, GA. This role is crucial in assisting students with disabilities to develop, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily functioning and learning. The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting and a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in a school setting
• Evaluate and assess students' physical, sensory, and motor skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ IEP goals
• Provide training to staff and families on therapeutic strategies
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions

Required Education & Certifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia
• Must have at least one year of experience in a school-based setting
