Job Opportunity: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Blazer Jobs is currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school setting in Albany, GA. In this role, you will assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate with educational teams to develop individualized therapy plans that help students improve their communication skills, ensuring they meet their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools and a passion for helping students succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure IEP goals are met
• Maintain progress reports and document student outcomes
• Educate staff and parents on speech and language interventions

Required Education & Certifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Georgia
• Must have at least one year of experience in a school-based setting
