Blazer Jobs has partnered with the School District to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate School Physical Therapist. This full-time position involves working with special needs students, providing essential physical therapy services to support their educational and developmental goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical disabilities.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate physical therapy goals into the classroom setting.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on techniques and strategies to assist students with physical needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Strong understanding of special education regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
