Job Opportunity: School Psychologist

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Valdosta, Georgia. This role is pivotal in promoting the academic, social, and emotional success of students within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and emotional development.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide counseling services to students to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Consult with teachers and staff to develop effective classroom management strategies and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Specialist degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia state certification in School Psychology.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and ethical practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
