Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, ensuring they can effectively communicate and thrive in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication skills in academic and social environments.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment progress, and any modifications to therapy plans.
• Offer consultation and training to school staff and families on communication strategies and speech development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
• Minimum of one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for speech and language disorders.
