Job Title: School Social Worker
Location: Gages Lake, Illinois
Job Type: 3 days per week, 7.5 hrs per day
 
Description: Our company is currently hiring a School Social Worker for our client in Gages Lake, Illinois. You will play a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic well-being and provide counseling, intervention services, and resources to empower students to thrive.
 
Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement intervention plans and support strategies to enhance students' overall well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive and inclusive school environment
• Assess students' social-emotional needs and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

 
Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• Active Illinois School Social Worker License
• Active IL Professional Educator's License (PEL)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
