Join Our Team as a Caring School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)!
We are excited to partner with a vibrant school in El Segundo, California, to find a dedicated full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the entire school year. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of students in grades K-12, supporting their diverse health needs.
Position Highlights:
- Current School Year: Engage with students from now until the end of the school year.
- Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week.
- Caseload: You will manage cases involving diabetes, medication administration, and other health needs. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Competitive Pay: $30 - $45 per hour, based on your experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensing: Valid LVN California License/Certification or Compact License.
- Certifications: Current CPR and BLS certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to students, including health status monitoring, medication administration, and executing prescribed medical procedures.
- Collaborate with the school health team, students’ families, and healthcare providers to develop and maintain personalized healthcare plans.
- Respond effectively to and manage acute medical situations related to students' health conditions.
