Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Advocate for the communication needs of students within the school setting.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to speech-language pathology services in schools.
