Oregon SLP Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active Oregon SLP license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.

Job Description:

The K-12 Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide speech and language support. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student success.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students’ communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide bilingual speech therapy services to English- and Spanish-speaking students.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, therapy plans, and required reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.
