School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Anchorage, AK - 2025-2026 School Year

Position Highlights:
Diverse Caseload: Work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing a wide range of services.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for speech-language services.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
Provide direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings across all grade levels.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
Alaska educator license through the DOE.
Current and valid Alaska SLP license.
Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population preferred.
Strong understanding of speech and language disorders across all age groups.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to a unique and dynamic school environment.
Schedule:
Middle School Hours: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
K-12 caseload.
Full-time position.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience, offered as a W2 contract.
The average hourly pay range for W2 contract School SLPs in the Anchorage, AK, area is approximately $45-$65, with the actual rate determined by qualifications and experience, and the cost of living within the area.
