State Requirements:
To work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Virginia, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license, and ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). A valid Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) license is also required for school-based positions.
