K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Philadelphia, PA

To practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP license issued by the PA Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • PA teaching certification for working in schools.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • School-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!

Job Overview:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a K-12 school team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time position working with students of all grade levels, from kindergarten to high school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to create effective communication strategies.
  • Conduct progress monitoring and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Support students with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.

  • K-12 caseload, working with students from kindergarten through high school.
  • Full-time position for the entire school year.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working with diverse student populations in urban school settings.
