K-8th Grade Speech Language Pathologist Job

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Lawrence, MA, to hire a full-time K-8 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to work with students in grades K-8, supporting their speech and language development to enhance academic success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services to K-8 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and state guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements (Massachusetts):

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Massachusetts SLP License issued by the Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification
• Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting
