Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

Caseload: Elementary students with multiple disabilities who use AAC devices, receiving OT, PT, and speech services.

We are a dedicated educational institution located in Exeter, NH, committed to providing quality education and support to our diverse student population. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team for the remainder of the 2023/24 school year.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with multiple disabilities, assisting with mobility using equipment such as wheelchairs, standers, and gait trainers
  • Assist with feeding students and monitoring feeding tubes as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional skills
  • Implement and adapt academic and therapeutic activities to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student care and progress
  • Transition to part-time hours during the summer with the potential for continued employment in the following school year

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire LNA License
  • Previous experience working with children with disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Physical ability to assist students with mobility and positioning needs
