Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 1:1 Support
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Pay: $35+ per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary, 1:1 with a student with special needs
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN to provide 1:1 support for a special needs elementary student. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and supporting students with medical and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical care and support for a student throughout the school day
- Monitor and respond to health and safety needs as required
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and follow care plans
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in Virginia
- Prior 1:1 experience with children with special needs required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
