Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Licensed Counselor for a full-time position within school districts in the New Caney, Texas area. This role offers a unique opportunity for compassionate professionals dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Assist in the development of students' coping strategies, social skills, and conflict resolution techniques.
• Monitor student progress and adjust counseling strategies as needed to ensure effective support.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid Texas state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
