Qualifications for the TVI Position:
- Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired (or a related field).
- Active Ohio TVI certification.
- A deep passion for supporting students with visual impairments, ensuring an inclusive and accessible educational experience.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities and Details:
- This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.
- Monday through Friday work schedule, providing consistent hours and a predictable workweek.
- Onsite position at schools within the district, offering direct support and services to students.
- Caseload includes K-12 students, allowing for diverse teaching experiences and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborative work with other educators and specialists to foster student growth and success.
