Position Overview:

• Location: Marion, NC
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Role: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Focus: Behavioral Support for K-12 Students with Special Needs

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs):
   You will carry out individualized Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed to address each student’s unique needs. Your goal will be to help students improve their behaviors and academic performance, leading to overall success.

2. Collaborate with Teachers and Families:
   Work closely with educators, specialists, and families to develop a unified approach for supporting students. Through ongoing communication and teamwork, you will help ensure that students receive the support they need to excel.

3. Monitor and Track Progress:
   Regularly track students’ progress to assess the effectiveness of interventions. You’ll adjust strategies as needed to ensure students are making meaningful progress in both behavioral and academic areas.

4. Create a Positive, Inclusive Classroom Environment:
   You’ll contribute to fostering a classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusivity, engagement, and positive behavior. Your efforts will help create a supportive space where students feel safe and motivated to learn.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RBT who is committed to helping students succeed. The ideal candidate will have:

Required Qualifications:

• Active RBT Certification (or ability to obtain certification in North Carolina)
• National RBT Certification
• A strong desire to work with students with special needs and behavioral challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach
