Duration: Mid-February 2024 to April 2024 (Exact dates to be determined)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our team on a contract basis to provide coverage for a maternity leave at an elementary school in Maryland (MD). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while gaining valuable experience in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions to address communication and speech disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
• Keep abreast of best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Maryland state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLPs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a school setting is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
