Learning Support Teacher (Middle School) - Chester, PA (Full-Time Onsite Contract) 2023/2024

We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Teacher for our middle school in Chester, PA, for the 2023-2024 school year.

This is a full-time onsite contract position, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies for academic success.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Utilize strong classroom and behavioral management skills to create a positive learning environment.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and support for all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Active SPED certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1+ year(s) of experience in Special Education teaching.
• Experience working in an urban setting is highly desirable.

Requirements:

• Commitment to a full-time onsite role during the 2023-2024 school year.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
