Position: Middle School Self-Contained SPED Teacher

Caseload: Moderate - Severe Students

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, school staff, and relevant stakeholders.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages student engagement.
• Utilize various teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies to facilitate learning and accommodate individual learning styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid SPED teaching certification/license in Arizona.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to address various learning abilities and styles.
