Overview:

Our school district is actively seeking dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teachers to join our team at the Middle School Level. This is a contract position with a quick interview and hiring process, offering competitive pay and guaranteed hours. The contract period extends from the immediate start date until 5/24/2024.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students at the Middle School Level.
• Work in either a Resource or Self-Contained setting based on student needs.
• Caseload may vary, and flexibility is available depending on the candidate's preferences.
• Ensure implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Willingness to work in-person, as the district has a crucial need for on-site educators.

Special Requirements:

• Possession of a valid SPED Educator Credential.
• CPI Training is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
• Flexibility and adaptability in accommodating varying caseloads.
