Job Description: Middle School Special Education Teacher
Location: Massachusetts
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) who present a range of emotional impairments. This position emphasizes a therapeutic approach, blending academic instruction with social learning to foster student growth across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons, structured activities, and individualized plans aligned with students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral goals.
  • Employ evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive, supportive environment that addresses the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to meet IEP goals effectively.
  • Facilitate a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License.
  • Proven experience working with middle school students with emotional impairments is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a therapeutic and inclusive learning environment.
