Multiple Special Ed Paraprofessionals (PARA) Needed In Kansas City, KS - Weekly Pay & Benefits!

A Paraprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) position for the current school year has opened in our partner school in the Kansas City, Kansas area. We are looking for a kind and compassionate candidate wanting to work with students of varying levels and meets the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Previous SPED, ABA, or behavior experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with toileting and/or diapering
• Paraprofessional Certification or Work Keys certification or at least 48 hours of college credits preferred

About the Position:

• Full or part time positions available
• Caseload: multiple openings, early childhood - high school, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Rate: $15 - $21 per hour, depending on previous experience

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in putting lesson plans and classroom activities into action.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to give academic help and reinforcement.
• Assist kids with special needs, learning difficulties, or other problems in their educational and social development.
