Key Responsibilities:

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with disabilities.

• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies to support student success.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports in compliance with special education regulations.

• Stay current with best practices and trends in special education, incorporating new approaches into teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Illinois.

• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
