Multiple Special Education Teacher
Blazer Jobs is seeking three self-contained Cross-Categorical Special Education Teachers for various grade levels in Calumet City, IL. This full-time role will involve supporting students with diverse learning needs across K-8 grade levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide specialized instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and other educators to support students' academic and behavioral progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Special Education License.
- IEIN number is required for submission.
- Experience with self-contained classrooms and cross-categorical special education preferred.
