Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Multiple Openings

Contract Position: September 2023 - June 26, 2024

Hours per Week: 35

Grade Range: K-12

About Us: We are seeking multiple dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team in New York. Our special education division, The Rise Center for Success, is renowned for providing specialized programs and services to students from across the region with moderate special needs. As an SLP at our school, you will play a vital role in helping these students achieve their communication and educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• New York state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents with special needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
