- Assessing and tracking students' skills and learning requirements
- Adapting lesson plans to meet each student' individualized needs
- Periodically communicates with parents regarding their child’s educational progress
- Maintains discipline in the classroom
- Assisting disabled students with their personal and self-help needs
- Developing, modifying, and updating IEPs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Active State SPED teaching license
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs.
