Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are looking for a dedicated ASD Specialist to join our team and provide specialized support to help students with ASD succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with ASD.
- Provide direct instruction and support in areas such as social skills, communication, behavior management, and academic achievement.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to support students’ learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and needs and monitor progress to adjust interventions as necessary.
- Train and support staff and parents in strategies for working effectively with students with ASD.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field.
- Certification or licensure in special education or a related area, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience working with students with ASD in a school or clinical setting.
