Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced BCBA to join our team in a special education setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting functional behavior assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to support students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective behavior management strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure and certification as a BCBA is required
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting the academic and social success of students with special needs
