Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in a special education setting. The successful candidate will provide essential support services to students with special needs, collaborating with educators and families to promote student well-being and success.


  • Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' social and emotional challenges
  • Provide counseling and support services to students, families, and school staff
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to coordinate services and resources for students
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' social and emotional goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress


  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • At least one year of experience working in a school or special education setting is preferred
  • Strong understanding of social work principles and practices, with a focus on supporting students with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting the social and emotional well-being of students with special needs
