Job Title: School-Based Psychologist (Contracted Position)

Pay Range: $35 - $55 per hour

School Year: Positions available for this current school year, 2024 - 2025, and next school year, 2025 - 2026.

As a School-Based Psychologist, you will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school staff to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for various psychological and learning challenges. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a supportive educational environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on evaluation results.
Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and mental well-being.
Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, progress reports, and interventions.
Deliver training and workshops for educators and parents on mental health and behavioral strategies.
Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student success and emotional resilience.
Stay informed on the latest research and trends in school psychology and mental health.
Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification preferred.
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and special education processes.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
