Now Hiring 1:1 RBT - School-Based Role in Westerly, RI

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Westerly, RI area. This position involves working one-on-one with a 10th-grade student, providing specialized support to help the student succeed in the classroom and with their behavioral goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide one-on-one support for a 10th-grade student, focusing on behavior modification, social skills development, and academic engagement.
• Collect and document data on student behavior and progress in accordance with the intervention plan.
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and the BCBA to ensure consistent support and adjustments to the intervention plan as needed.
• Participate in team meetings to review student progress and collaborate on necessary adjustments to the behavior plan.
• Support crisis intervention and implement de-escalation techniques as required.

Special Requirements: 

• Current and active RBT certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check per state and district guidelines.
• Completion of First Aid and CPR certification as required by Rhode Island state regulations.
• Previous experience working in a 1:1 role with students with behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
