Job Summary:
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultations, to support students' academic, emotional, and social development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to create and implement strategies that promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address social-emotional concerns.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Child Study Team (CST) and intervention planning.
• Provide professional development and training for staff on topics related to mental health and learning disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
