Position Overview

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on student needs.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify challenging behaviors and their causes.
  • Provide ongoing training and consultation to educators, paraprofessionals, and families.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior programs, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure compliance with goals and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Qualifications

Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Illinois state licensure as required for practice in school settings.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience working with students in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of data collection, analysis, and behavior modification techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
