Now Hiring for Paraprofessional for the 2023-2024 School Year in Castro Valley, CA

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Paraprofessional to join our educational institution in Castro Valley, CA. If you have a passion for education, a commitment to student success we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Duration: 12/1/2023 - 5/31/24
• Approximately 27.5 - 33 hours a week (there are multiple available position depends on which position you choose)
• Caseload: Must be flexible with working with middle and high schoolers.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, reinforcing learning concepts.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Support classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Paraprofessional License or Teaching Assistant Certification.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and understanding of diverse learning needs.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with a team.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software.
