Position Overview:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 22, 2025
• Schedule: 35-40 hours per week
• Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL
• Caseload: Specific details will be provided during the interview

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Certification: Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience: Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing emotional, social, and academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for student success
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
• Act as a liaison between school and community resources to support students and families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided
