Now Hiring Full Time Speech Language Pathologist for Elementary Education

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing for a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join a supportive school district in the North Chicago, Illinois area. This full-time role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-3. We are open to considering strong Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) who meet the necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for K-3 students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the appropriate support.
• Provide both direct and indirect therapy, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, including IEPs, progress reports, and therapy notes, in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences to advocate for student success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure or certification in Illinois as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred but not required.
• Strong SLPAs will be considered, provided they meet all Illinois requirements.
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged children (K-3) is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
