Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging and effective math lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Maintain accurate and organized records, including grades, attendance, and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.

Qualifications

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with a Math endorsement.
• Compliance with all state and district requirements, including background checks.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous teaching experience in a general education math classroom is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of math curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
