Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Intervention Specialist to join a dedicated school district in the Springfield, OH area. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students with unique learning needs while working within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Intervention Specialist, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to support student success.
• Provide small-group or one-on-one instruction to address academic, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals in alignment with state and district standards.

Qualifications

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
• Compliance with all Ohio state requirements, including background checks and certifications.

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in special education or working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
