Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for K-12 students
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to instructional plans as necessary
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
• Act as a resource for general education staff to support the integration of inclusive practices

Requirements:

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field, with active Arizona Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience: Experience with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills; familiarity with IEP development and implementation
