Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Mathematics.
• Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Math Endorsement.
• Experience: Prior experience teaching middle school math is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement techniques.

Responsibilities:

As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons for middle school students.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and adhere to district policies.
