Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Mathematics.
- Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Math Endorsement.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching middle school math is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement techniques.
Responsibilities:
As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based math lessons for middle school students.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success.
