Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Para or ABA Support professional to provide general classroom support and 1:1 assistance for 3rd and 5th-grade students in Orleans, MA. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work directly with students in both general education and individualized settings. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting students with various behavioral and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support and 1:1 assistance for 3rd and 5th-grade students.
• Assist students with learning tasks and engage them in classroom activities.
• Offer support during virtual speech therapy sessions.
• Implement de-escalation strategies and provide behavior management support as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to implement individual learning plans.
• Provide feedback and observations on student progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting.
• Preferred: Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or de-escalation techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues in a classroom environment.
• Comfortability with technology and online learning platforms (if applicable).
